ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS 2021 takes place online as a conference.
The ESS offers an overview and update on current technologies and trends, finance, business models and the international markets in the field of energy storage.
On March 16 and 17, experts from politics, business and research will discuss and present energy storage systems as boosters of the energy transition in various sessions and workshops.
Thomas Speidel, CEO of ADS-TEC Group and President of BVES (German Energy Storage Association) will moderate as Co-Moderator Session 2 on Tuesday, titled "The National and International Policy Framework for Flexibility through Energy Storage."
Is the importance of energy storage recognized? Who will set which framework conditions in the future? What is on a good track and what national and international support is there?
Their experience and knowledge on these issues are provided by the top-class speakers: Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy, Leonore Gewessler, Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation & Technology of Austria and Prof. Dr. Hans-Martin Henning, Director of the Fraunhofer Institute ISE.
