ADS-TEC Energy receives GreenTech-Award
Award for high level of innovation in climate protection technologies
In 2021, the German Association for Consumer Studies (DtGV) honoured for the first time German companies and research institutions for their innovations to advance climate protection or enable adaptations to climate change through new ideas. The award for ADS-TEC Energy is based on a global innovation study on patents.
"We are very pleased to receive this award, as it recognises our many years of commitment and work for technical innovation," said Thomas Speidel, CEO of the ADS-TEC Group.
The independent analysis determined the number of patents given to German-based companies from 1st January 2019 until 31st December 2020, in patent class Y02 of the Cooperative Patent Classification (CPC). This patent class includes all technologies or applications for climate change mitigation or adaptation. All patent offices worldwide were evaluated for the DtGV study
"In the fight against climate change, it would be careless to rely only on large global corporations. With innovative approaches in the sector of energy storage or mobile fast-charging solutions, ADS-TEC impressively demonstrates that a family-owned company from Nürtingen can also make important contributions to climate protection," says Oliver Hauf, Managing Director of DtGV.
