ads-tec signifies Automation, Data systems and System technology – 100% made in Germany. ads-tec with headquaters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen develops and manufactures rugged high quality IT systems for industrial surroundings and complexe devices for automation engineering for more than 30 years. As a medium-sized company, ads-tec employs about 200 associates at three sites in Germany. The source of ads-tec’s various evolutions is the capacity of 100% inhouse development. The family-run company was founded in 1980 starting with approximately 40 employees. Within the last 30 years ads-tec was able to establish from mere fabricator of switchboards to general contractor in machine building as well as from assembly of Industrial PCs to IT product manufacturer. With Ruit ads-tec gained a site for its Automation business unit, where the development and production of machinery and equipment are located, and in 2009 ads-tec opened an additional location of fabrication at Wilsdruff near Dresden.

Within ads-tec‘s business unit Data systems and System technology a vast portfolio arised under the label of the rugged world of IT®, containing the domains of Industrial PCs, Tablet PCs, Terminals, IT Infrastructure and Customized solutions for medical engineering. ads-tec platforms and embedded systems are long-term marketable, and ads-tec is able at any time to optimize and change all components for the benefit of its concept of complete inhouse development. In both business units ads-tec liaises closely with brand leaders Intel® and Microsoft®. ads-tec’s services include conception, industrial design, housing/mechanics, electronics, CPU boards and power supply, firmware, BIOS in source code as well as long-term support.

ads-tec’s Automation business unit offers a full range of automated feeding devices and handling systems for machinery and equipment. In the focus are loading, gripping, supplying and stacking technologies. ads-tec therefore developed the speedload and special stacking cells inhouse. The technology targets optimized cycles of definite processes for secure and economic positioning and control of tools, workpieces, assemblies and materials. Our services provide concept, implementing and long-term support as well as retrofitting.
